Dusting off a hard drive and came across this file of Black Tusk.Probably one of the most shot mountains in the region and for good reason. With the weather we have been having lately I can’t wait for a clear day to see the mountains new coats.

Claudia Avon Slaying It
I first met Claudia Avon on a trip a few years back. You really get to know someone when you are sleeping in a blizzard and your tent is caving in. Claudia was in high spirits the whole time and all you could hear was giggles coming form her tent at the amount of snow we were receiving. In the morning when the clouds parted she went to work slaying everything she could. She dropped this edit from her footage from last season and it has been getting the play it deserves. Keep your eye out for this young lady you will be seeing her slaying it more and more on your screens i’m sure.

A Hel Of A Time With Helen Schettini
The hardest working lady in snowboarding is at it again. Helen just dropped her first episode in her new web series that is airing this year. The intro is nice and of course has some sweet riding in it. I got to work with Helen on a project last year that I can’t wait to come to print, as well she got me out of a sticky situation last season that I will forever be grateful for. She is a hell of a rider and a fine lady, I can’t wait to see the other episodes. She recently dropped a new website that you can check out and keep up to date with her awesomeness.
Mexico Mega Post
Near the end of April one of my oldest friends tied the knot at a nice little all inclusive near Puerto Vallarta. I like to fancy myself more of a traveller and not so much an all inclusive kind of guy but you would have to be a fool not to enjoy drinks delivered pool side with some of your oldest friends and family. After we were free from the wedding obligations my beautiful lady and I spent a week a little farther north touring around and catching some waves, or should I say trying to catch some waves. Here are a couple shots from our travels in the beautiful country of Mexico.
If you would like to see some more stuff from the wedding click on through.
Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism Advertisement
A while back I went on one of those bucket list trips/assignments that every time I think about I still get a little giddy. Some of the imagery is starting to pop up in tourism advertisements for the region. If you are still undecided on where you want to take your vacation this year, don’t hesitate to check out the Bella Coola area no matter what the season is they have something amazing to offer.
Mountain Life Annual
In this day and age you are more likely to see a magazine going under then a new one popping up. After quite a few years of success with their two publications Mountain Life Coast Mountains and Mountain Life Georgian Bay, the crew at Mountain Life Publishing is throwing their hat in the ring with a new publication Mountain Life Annual. I recently got my hands on a copy and trust me it’s worth the money. Well put together, great print quality, and packed with awesome information. They say it is the kind of magazine you will want to keep on your coffee table for a while, but I feel it is better suited to the bookshelf, where it will be safe from beer bottle rings this summer.
Check out what Editor Leslie Anthony has to say about the new publication.
