Spent a couple days with a fun crew exploring the many cabin’s around the Coast Mountains last winter. The story was just released in the latest issue of Snowboard Canada.
Here are a couple tears from the project.
The newest Mountain Life just dropped and as always the crew over there did a bang up job. I was lucky enough to get a couple photos of Seth in it doing his thing. If you have been sleeping under a rock and not had a chance to see his edit from last year make sure you give it a watch below.
We all know a snowboarders career can be over before it even starts. My idea for this feature was to show what the riders might look like after years of chasing pow, girls, and the general lifestyle of a snowboarder. The talented Feet Banks penned the words, Amy Diedrich came out and did a stellar job on the makeup.
Thanks to the riders that made this happen and putting up with my crazy ideas,SBC for supporting the vision, the Squamish SPCA for the feline rental and if you are looking for a cat go see them they’ve got you covered.
One of the things I like about working with the crew at Snowboard Canada is they are always up to let you try something different. So when I approached them about trying to snowmobile across the border between Canada and the USA they jumped at the idea. Almost everyone else I talked to about it thought it was a bad idea, but you know what they say bad ideas make for great stories. Unfortunately we did not accomplish our mission, but we did explore some new terrain, had some laughs and saw some creepy stuff along a small stretch of the worlds longest undefended border. Grab a copy at your local shop and thanks for coming along guys.
You got to love early mornings waiting for the light to crack. Another day, another jump, and some golden light from Volume 22 Issue 1 of Snowboard Canada by Mark Gribbon Photography.
