The woman’s annual just dropped for Snowboard Canada and I was lucky enough to have a few photos in it plus a feature story from a trip we did last winter. Make sure you grab a copy before they are all gone. Thanks for all the great times ladies!

Molly Milligan / Kalina Hornsby – Light Of Day
The post about Helen yesterday got me thinking about past times shooting with her and I think that these photos might have been from the first day we shot together. A couple of Helen ended up getting used from this trip but unfortunately these ones never saw the light of day. I haven’t seen Kalina in years, but Molly is till around slaying it on her board. The girls had this secret pillow stash that we went to out of Bralorne and the snow was so deep on this trip that the girls just kept getting buried in the pillows. I hope we are going to have another one of those deep winters!
Helen Schettini The Hardest Working Lady In Snowboarding
It is great to see when hard work pays off for someone and all the hard work is paying off for Helen. She just signed a deal with Adidas Snowboarding, has an interview in Snowboard Magazine as well she landed the cover of the SBC Women’s Annual with a great interview inside, and from what I hear has another great part in YES Snowboardsnew movie. It really is a pleasure to see her getting the recognition she deserves.
Mountain Life Magazine The End Of The World Issue
Mountain Life Magazine just dropped their End Of The World Issue and Dave Barnes, Trevan and I collaborated on the cover image. It is great to see a magazine breaking the mold and trying something different. The issue is packed with some great survival tips to survive the upcoming zombie apocalypse, as well as many other great articles. If you are in the sea to sky corridor make sure you grab a copy.

We Want Films – Levity
Along with having the nicest mustache in snowboarding Tyler Chorlton is one hell of a snowboarder.I spent a couple days with this crew in the back country last season and from the looks of their movie they just dropped they had a bunch of fun days all over the globe. Click through watch the video and start getting your stoke on for winter.
Iikka Backstrom – Light of Day
This was from the last year that Whiteout Films was around and the first year D.C. started getting a little heavier in the snowboard scene. We were climbing up the glacier in Brandywine in some flat light and Iikka launched into this crevasse. Probably one of the scarier situations I have witnessed when someone is doing around eighty km in front of you and then just disappears into the earth. As always Iikka was a champ, a little shaken up but he rode the sled out with no steering column that day. It looks like great minds think a like because Push.ca is running a new series dusting off the old files right now, the first one was on Jussi and they just put one up with some of my old stuff. Don’t worry it didn’t thin out the Light of Day files that much.
Chris Rasman – Light of Day
Chris is a machine, always willing to hike another time and to stay until the last light of the day. As well he is also one of the nicest guy’s in snowboarding. Snowboard Canada just released their first movie RELAX, it looks like it is jammed packed with talented Canadian riders like Chris. So do yourself a favor go and download it for free.
Eero Niemela – Light of Day
With the rain starting up over the last couple of days, I have been digging through the crates and dusting of the hard drives. I have been inspired by Russell & Dano to show some of my older photos that have never seen the light of day. The first one is a terrible scan of Eero Niemela from back in the film days, shot on ILFORD DELTA stock in the Pemberton British Columbia. This will be a ongoing topic on o.k. listen so expect to be seeing more.
