Dave Short Light Of Day
I first met Dave years ago working in a restaurant together in Whistler. You could tell right away he wasn’t cut out for the service industry, I mean he could do the job but he just wasn’t into it. After about a month of working there he just didn’t show up one day. Of course working in a mountain town your mind starts to think the worst but it turns out Dave just packed up his truck and sled and headed north with a crew because he heard the snow was good. I think he has been chasing the snow ever since then and hasn’t looked back. He just dropped his last edit of his web series Short Stories, and it is filled with some great riding.

Helen Schettini Tear Sheet
A recent tear sheet from Golden Ride in Germany with Helen Schettini slaying it as usual. That gnarly looking ramp on the left was shot by Billabong apparently.
Claudia Avon Slaying It
I first met Claudia Avon on a trip a few years back. You really get to know someone when you are sleeping in a blizzard and your tent is caving in. Claudia was in high spirits the whole time and all you could hear was giggles coming form her tent at the amount of snow we were receiving. In the morning when the clouds parted she went to work slaying everything she could. She dropped this edit from her footage from last season and it has been getting the play it deserves. Keep your eye out for this young lady you will be seeing her slaying it more and more on your screens i’m sure.
Out Of Bounds Tales From The Backcountry
Whistler Arts council is running their yearly photo contest again. The launch party is on the 24th at Millennium Place, get all the details here. I will be showing this image of Clint Allan, and from what I hear Cameron Hunter has some heat he is bringing to the show.
Incoming From What We Want Films
I spent a few days with these Euros last season in the backcountry, lots of laughs and good times. Couple drunkin nights as well. The teaser for their new project just dropped and it seems like the boys have stepped up their game this year. Nice work guys can’t wait to see the full piece.
A Hel Of A Time With Helen Schettini
The hardest working lady in snowboarding is at it again. Helen just dropped her first episode in her new web series that is airing this year. The intro is nice and of course has some sweet riding in it. I got to work with Helen on a project last year that I can’t wait to come to print, as well she got me out of a sticky situation last season that I will forever be grateful for. She is a hell of a rider and a fine lady, I can’t wait to see the other episodes. She recently dropped a new website that you can check out and keep up to date with her awesomeness.
