Eero Niemela – Light of Day

20080613_erro_pemby_0001

With the rain starting up over the last couple of days, I have been digging through the crates and dusting of the hard drives. I have been inspired by Russell & Dano to show some of my older photos that have never seen the light of day. The first one is a terrible scan of Eero Niemela from back in the film days, shot on ILFORD DELTA stock in the Pemberton British Columbia. This will be a ongoing topic on o.k. listen so expect to be seeing more.

This past winter Robin was working on a web series with a couple ladies and they recently put all the footage together and released a nice little piece. I haven’t spent much time shooting with these ladies but I did have a great trip with Robin and a few girls this past winter. Watch for the feature on that coming out soon from Snowboard Canada. For now grab a coffee and start getting stoked for winter.

THE OPEN

I have been on a bit of a contest spree lately. I posted earlier about the PDN contest, and thought I would take a chance with this new one called THE OPEN. Turns out the shot of Shin made photo of the day on their blog. Thanks so much guys, make sure you check out the contest there is such a great variety of shots in it already.

Above is a shot of Shin from the same day, we need some snow I am itching to get out there. Click through the links to see what I have in the contest.

SBC Crew Challenge

20110428_brth_fac_067-Edit-Edit

Last season SBC put together a contest with with the help of D.C. and Powder Mountain Catskiing  where four of Canada’s top filming compaines had a few days to put together a edit. They built a bunch of features in powder mountains tenure and let the crews loose. I got teamed up with the Brothers Factory at the last minute and came out with a few keepers after it was all over. The weather was less then ideal for the most part but on the final day the clouds parted and all the features saw some action. Click on over to SBC and vote for your favorite crew.
